Well we just finished going to see Kingdom of Heaven last night. We had a terrific night.. Went out to dinner at Canyons (not one of my favorite places to dine) and then went to see the movie. I enjoyed this movie although I am not really sure why. I guess I liked the action and the story line but Why is it that Hollywood feels they have to take really interesting periods of history and falsify them to make a good story? Do they really think we are all stupid out here? I guess maybe I am an exception since I am a History major in college but good grief... Wouldn't it be wonderful to get a clear picture of the times without trying to decipher fact from fiction? Oh well, I wasn't expecting much from this movie because of the reviews. The acting was fair and the action was good. My husband found it ludicrous that the people in the main characters village had lived so many years without water and yet the minute the main character shows up they decide they need water and discover wells? Well anyway, I said I would do a quick blurb on the movie so you have my opinion for what it was worth.
